Subfloor preparation & housing stock in Oldham

Residential and commercial properties across Oldham feature traditional Victorian timber joists, suspended floorboards, and modern concrete screeds. Nigel Rostron Carpets applies localized substrate preparation, including liquid damp-proof membranes (DPM) and self-leveling latex compounds before installing engineered timber, LVT, or luxury wool carpets.

Notice: In accordance with BS 8203, all resilient floor coverings (such as Karndean, Amtico, and LVT) require subfloor relative humidity (RH) testing not exceeding 75% prior to permanent adhesion. Calibrated hygrometers and liquid damp-proof membranes (DPM) are routinely utilized across Oldham.
